The general Market Rules are for all are available on this website and displayed around the site.

**Pitches need to be pre booked and paid for to guarantee a pitch as we are limited to the number available.** Please email for booking form and further details. 
  • Car booter pre booked £8 (bring your own tables/ground sheets if required) 3 meter pitch width
  • Vans / trailers  pre booked £15 - 8 meter pitch width

Please note the following market rules which includes some changes. Please email to request a pitch. You will receive details of how to book followed by a confirmation email.

All pitch fees are non-refundable/non transferable – with the one exception should government restrictions close the market then all fees paid will be held over to the next market or refunded on request. NOTE: We are open in all weathers. 

·         Pitch numbers are limited. Please be aware we can not guarantee any pitch that is unpaid. Any bookings unpaid by the Friday 6pm preceding the Sunday requested maybe cancelled.    

·         The market is open to sellers from 7.30am to 12noon. Traders who stand on the market are required to ensure that their stall is open for trade for the duration of this period.

·         Traders need to bring their own stall/table and equipment.

·         All traders must have their own Public Liability Insurance and should ensure that their stall abides by Health and Safety Regulations.

·         Car Boot is strictly Second Hand Goods only - this will be strictly adhered to and any car boot trader selling new or goods purchased to sell on (professional car booter) will be treated as a trade stall holder and charged accordingly.

Since Covid-19 we have been given strict guidelines of how to operate our event.

Every stallholder and visitor must abide by the guidelines, there are no exceptions.

If you don’t want to abide by the guidelines then please do not visit our car boot sales.

Guidelines including but not limited too:

1.      Firstly and most importantly please DO NOT attend if you, or anyone in your household has symptoms of Covid-19.

2.      Sellers are welcome to set up any time after the gates are opened. Usually between 6.45am-7.30am approx 

3.      The 2 meter social distancing rule must to be adhered to.

4.      A one way system will be in operation on the sale site. Clockwise. Please follow the one way signs and so not walk in the 2 meter social distancing gap between stalls. 

5.      Pedestrian access point will be in signed area.

6.      Buyers are not allowed on the sale site until notified by the market staff. (Not before 7.30am)

7.      Sanitiser stations will be available to use, please use them.

8.      Buyers - please carry hand sanitiser and use between stalls.

9.      Buyers - Only touch goods you intend to buy.

10.  Please use contactless payment where this available.

11.  Face masks are not mandatory outdoors – the use of PPE is left to the individuals discretion.

12.  All sellers MUST clean up around your stall and car after trading and as we all have ‘a duty of care’ - all rubbish/ unsold goods must be taken away with you and be disposed of responsibly. Any cases of fly tipping will result in the stallholders details passed to SMDC for further investigation.   

13.  The car park will be open as usual. There is no reserved area for disabled badge holders

14.  One unisex toilet will be available. 1 in 1 out policy please use the hand sanitiser provided. 

15.  Finally, Market staff will help with queries – please bear with us as this is a new system and is likely to change as Covid-19 restrictions are reviewed. When you visit us, we ask that you show respect to our staff and management. Anyone who does not abide by our guidelines and our signs will be asked to leave.


We reserve the right to refuse anyone entrance to the market and car boot.
